Bill Man Studios

I took a love to filming and editing when 10 years old. I would create short skits, videos, and movies nonstop and loved to see the final result to all my hard work! I created hundreds of videos, but wouldn’t upload them anywhere. When I was 13 slowly I wanted other people to see my work, so I created my first YouTube channel called Bill Man Studios. I would upload videos to YouTube everyday for years, learning the algorithm and the in’s and outs of how it worked. Slowly my passion for making videos turned into a passion for YouTube. I wanted to get monetized, make money, and become a YouTuber. Every young kids dream. Then after years of uploading I realized getting monetized was a lot harder than it looked. I would upload completely random videos, anything I liked to make, so I turned my channel from skits and random videos, to a more short film, videography, and video editing based channel.

My love for YouTube and videos began to shift into a love for videography, cinematography, and video editing. I learned new software, started making better videos, and learned a lot about pacing and storytelling. Soon my videos were getting better, but I still wasn’t making any money. In 2023 someone reached out to me wanting me to edit a video for them. I was getting paid for the first time ever, and this was crazy! This opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me. I could get paid for freelance work doing videography and video editing, and didn’t just have to stick to trying to make money on YouTube. In early 2024 after waiting to get approved for a business license and home occupation permit, i opened up a business through my city called, Bill Man Studios. I quickly began transitioning my YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms to revolve around my business, and started uploading content I had made for clients on them.

I met a bunch of great people who helped me in my journey of knowing my worth when it came to video work, and knowing what it meant to own a real business. I’ll never forget my family and how much they supported me through all of this. From 10 years old, watching all of my hundreds of videos, to now when I’m 18, still helping me run my business. I’ve learned a lot through the years, and even now in the present day, I’m still learning new things about my craft, skill, and who I am as a business owner every day.
