Gosh I really love this movie! I could watch it every day and not get bored❤️
All I have to say is that Javier Bardem is terrifyingly good at playing a psychopath, his calm voice, dead stare, and terrible haircut make's every scene with him feels like a threat.
I get it now.
A film from 1957 has no right to feel this tense. Twelve angry men, one room, just talking, arguing, doubting and sweating, A LOT for almost the entire movie. You go in thinking guilty, without even realizing it, and slowly end up questioning everything. Nothing is proven for sure, and that’s the point. It doesn’t scream innocence, it whispers doubt.
All I can say is that the 90 minutes felt like 30. And yeah… I sure hope he missed his baseball game.
