Maybe the happy ending is just moving on!
I've been wanting to watch this for some time, and I'm satisfied with the ending, it did not disappoint.
Sometimes we might think we've found the "one" but it's just not it.
And I can understand where Gigi is coming from somewhat, and how it feels, not necessarily with romantic relationships only, but totally not the best feeling, and then Alex shows up and hits her with the truth and boom her…
My favorite part of this movie is the summary at the end, the "could have been".
And I hope the person who recommended me this back then is doing well.
