the kills from robert englund as freddy krueger in this film are so fun and creative it's hard not to love it for that reason alone, but the shitty puns and one-liners were out of control here; i’ve got a few more nightmare movies to get through to complete watching the entire franchise

a mean girls meets the substance prom horror movie led by shirley chen in the first half and mckenna grace in the second half of the film, i feel like ariana grande wishes this procedure was real; if this was a youtube video it’d be titled something like “white girl SHOCKS chinese nail salon staff by ordering in perfect mandarin”

robert pattinson is at his best when he gets to be a weird little freak on camera and bong joon ho is the perfect director to match that energy; toni collette was fantastic here as always

late night low budget genre bending college stoner comedy with a strong cast that brings something new to the table, i surprisingly liked this more than i was expecting to based on the marketing online i thought it would be cringy over anything else and it was at times but it had its moments; gaten matarazzo, sarah sherman, caleb hearon, sean giambrone, and jack martin all brought their best abilities to bring this together
