Completely inexplicable in every conceivable way, Taxi Dancers is a drama in search of a point, filled with performers who never do another movie, supported by a few names you know from better things. It all adds up to a complete bore narratively, but it has such an odd early ‘90s synth score/soundtrack and decent cinematography that it starts to wash over you and hypnotize you into believing you’re watching a real movie.

Somehow better than most of Roeg’s late career output, and also slightly worse than the best of the made for Showtime erotic thrillers, Full Body Massage tries to exist as both meditation and masturbation tool.  Its success on both fronts will vary wildly.
