This film really said “let's ruin your day”. Greta Lee and Teo Yoo have insane chemistry, saying everything with just a look. The direction and the cinematography are amazing. Genuinely can't remember the last time I watched a love story this beautiful, heartbreaking but still full of so much love. Celine Song I hate you. I'm gonna be thinking about this one for a long time.

I kind of expected this film to be my favorite among the Oscar nominees, and it really was. The lead actors, Renate Reinsveen and Stellan Skarsgård, were amazing. I also liked Elle Fanning in her role. The story really pulled me in, I kept thinking about it even after it was over. It's one of the best films I've seen this year.

I like this film so much that part of me wishes the vampire element hadn't been there. I get why Ryan Coogler chose to bring in the supernatural, but as a huge western fan, I couldn't help thinking about how incredible it could have been as a straight western. I love the story, the characters, the cinematography and the music. Michael B. Jordan truly deserves to win the Oscar for Best Actor.

After the end of the film I needed some time before I could write anything. I remember the first time I heard Hind's name and the recording that circulated online, and yet the film still made me hope the rescue vehicle would reach her in time, as if the story might somehow change. I really hoped it would. Director Kaouther Ben Hania reminds us that behind every headline there are voices, children, and lives that deserve to be heard and protected.
