Why do you say "romantic" like it's a dirty word?
"There was a dream that was Rome. It shall be realized."
I've always been overly critical about this film, nitpicking every little detail. I'm not even sure I understood why. I guess I thought I knew better.
Now that I've seen what cinema has become, I do understand. They definitely don't make them like this anymore. And you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone.
I can't wait until this era of celebrating mediocrity and fakery turns to dust. So we can once again enjoy simple stories about real heroes.
