Ready or Not but better. Its hard to believe the director of Mare of Easttown & Penguin made this banger back in 2020. I mean its not that great but far better than other similar billionaier's bad genre shit that getting praise lately. Im down for anything he makes onward.
1h 59m runtime is quite ambitious for a korean thriller unless you make it super gripping which director Ryoo Seung-wan did rightfully. Had a blast watching this. This was smooth, modern & stylish. What i liked most is Ryoo turned loverboy Zo In-sung into an action star. The only thing i didnt liked is the finishing of film. Carried the whole film with dark intense tone then in the end idk why Ryoo mixed up some cheesy romance only to ruin the flow which forced me not to give it a 4 star. But its still a kickass thrill ride i must say.
