WokePalpatine [he/him]

I just want you to know,

I’m woke Palpatine now. I’m doin’ midichondrial prefigurative politics.

I’m organizing my community via the Emperor Palpatine Surgical Reconstruction Center.

I’ve literally mastered the means of production via Exegollian juche.

What are you doing? Yeah, that’s what I predicted you’d say with my force powers. Don’t bother admitting me to this forum, I’ve already perfectly simulated it with my force powers.

You ban me in 6 months for saying Alderaan was a comprador planet and deserved it with no counter-argument.

  • I was watching a video interviewing a guy who worked in the anime industry in the '80s, '90s, 2000s and he’s a self-described capitalist and idealist liberal type. And he was saying Americans don’t want to bomb Japan because they know about Japan and they don’t care if Iraq got bombed because they don’t interact with any art from Iraq. Super idealist.

But it got me thinking how I don’t know how true that is for any other country? Do other countries have people who are actively hostile to places they have no idea about? They’re hostile to places they have some idea about. But are they actively fascist towards random countries they can’t find on a map as well? Seems like the US is uniquely evil in that sense. The US media doesn’t even need to try that hard to justify this stuff, whereas other countries they’d at least have to do months or years of propaganda to trick people into thinking they know about a country and why it needs to be attacked.

  • It’s kinda’ funny how much people hate Square when they’re one of the few companies that actually release game regularly, release smaller-ish mid-budget games, release JRPGs at all. I hate all the bad stuff about them too, but they get more hate than Nintendo when Nintendo’s way worse of a company (the only reason Nintendo didn’t jump on AI/NFTs is probably due to their size and success and not due to any ideological opposition).

Konami’s worse. Capcom’s probably better. Etc. Etc. Fine with the critiques but feels disproportionate.
