This is a great way to let gamers connect with eachother. It would prevent some loneliness with gamers here in the west

More strategy. I want North Korean hoi4 players to humble some of the Nazi fucks in our community.

in a place where you pay an hourly fee, no one would play a grand strategy game lmao.

Correct, definitely not as long as map strategy but it had some grand strategy stuff in it for like territorial control and we def had a few day long games going. Def was spaced out tho

Hitman is rad and I did not expect Dark Picture.

Question, do they have North Korean dialect dubs or is it all in South Korean? I know there’s not much of a difference and they can understand each other, but I think I’m just curious if there is north korean V.As.

I have no idea. This might be a great question for that Chinese student in NK that shared this. If you are interested in asking him and also have a Rednote account, you can find him as “readmorebooks7”. http://xhslink.com/o/5PzdcG2OoCi

From the Chinese student in NK that I follow in Xiaohongshu:

A Brief Account of Studying in North Korea | First Look at a North Korean Internet Cafe Visited a North Korean internet cafe—pretty decent experience. Since I went right after lunch, there weren’t many locals yet. By the time I was about to leave, it started getting busier. The machines didn’t display specs, but they were all Player Nation hardware, offering a solid gaming experience. Here, Dota 2 and CS:GO are modified into standalone versions that connect via LAN. This means all players in a room are physically present in the same internet cafe, though you never know which machine your teammates are on. In CS:GO, there was even a room named “ikun”—clearly a North Korean gamer who’d been to China [laughing crying emoji]. They have 70 games total—most I’ve seen before. You can even change the language internally. I know you’re wondering if that language is available… and yes, it is [wry smile]. It’s $2 per hour. Fellow internet cafe enthusiasts, come give it a try and share your thoughts [smack lips]. #NorthKoreaStudyAbroad #MyStudyAbroadLife #NorthKoreaTravel #NorthKorea #PhDLife
