Got a little bit of money. Almost wet out for Mexican but decided to do it at home. Flank steak burritos with store bought salsa, guacamole, tortillas and side of refried beans. Probably the most expensive Mexican meal I’ve ever had outside of a restaurant. But they didn’t have any tomatoes or ripe avocados.
Cost per person, $9 Still cheaper than a restaurant. Unfortunately home doesn’t have any margaritas or Negro Modelo.
I’m under the impression that you’re favorite food is Mexican.
Bon appetite!
I grew up in an Italian kitchen but in a largely Hispanic population. I can ragu and Bolognese, make mozzarella andy own pasta but I’m way more likely to make tortillas and a roja sauce if I listen to my cravings.
So what you’re saying is tomatoes are a kitchen staple.
Are tomatoes not a kitchen staple somewhere?? Horror! Horror!
Tomatoes, peppers, onions, oregano, pork. They all work in both kitchens.
