Kingrinder K6 is the sweet spot for non-espresso hand grinders.

Melitta has a line of premium pour over filters that should fit that filter holder. I assume that is a #4. If it is smaller than #4 then the following might be a bit too large.

The change from nice hand grinders (Knock Feld 2 and Helor 101) and the Fellow Opus to the Fellow Ode 2 was drastic. The Ode 2 produces very few fines which greatly increases clarity and the speed in draw down time for the water through the grounds. I am doing pour over not espresso.

The hand grinders and the Opus all produce far more fines than the Ode 2.

I believe that now it is possible to get good blueberry notes from beans other than Kenyan.

I like them all as long as they are not too funky/winey. I love a great big blueberry bomb washed Kenyan but I also enjoy honey process and some of the experimental anaerobic process stuff.

Tape over the one way valve and toss it in the freezer. Done. Under FIFO for use means it’s in the freezer no more than 2 months before I use it. I’ve been doing this for a couple years now and have seen no signs of water vapor crystallization or noticed any freezer odors.
