Filming has reportedly begun on Nintendo's live-action The Legend of Zelda movie, with shooting set to take place in New Zealand until April next year.
I have heard that Detective Pikachu was good… but I haven’t watched it because it came out when I was just burnt out with the “Ryan Reynolds” archetype/voiced characters. I feel the same about movies with Will Ferrell or Chris Pratt. They have one type of character they play… and I’m just sick of it.

It IS, however, the most accurate and widely understood description of Sonic Fans/Bronies/Hazbin/Digital Circus/etc fans. No other word so accurately captures the cringe, the lack of self-awareness, the creepy fetishes.

I’ll take your word for it. Kaiju movies aren’t really my thing, and it’s not rated great so I don’t have any real interest in watching it. Though, I recognize it is rated on the higher end in comparison to the others I gave as examples.
I think that’s being a bit short with it. Being targeted for kids doesn’t mean it needs to be the equivalent of “jangling keys” for an hour and a half. There are tons of of “made for kids” entertainment that still put in effort. Of the top of my head…

Hiding behind “it’s made for kids” is just an excuse for low quality, low effort slop. It’s a lazy cash grab. You don’t need to defend lazy studios disrespecting source material with trash content because it’s “made for kids”. And “Video Game Movies” do this all, the, time. They don’t give af about the quality because they know they’ll get ticket sales on fanboys, nostalgia, and tired parents needing someone else to jangle the keys for a bit while they fall asleep on the couch.
I think the only time (I can remember) that I saw a great video game adaptaion, was “Arcane”… and “Castlevania”

I enjoyed the original Mortal Kombat. The sequel was terrible though and the remake didn’t hit the spot for me.
Sonic 3 was way better than Sonic Adventure 2.
