Voyager@lemmy.world•Voyager v2.37.1, with experimental Piefed supportEnglish
1·2 months agoI think that’s a bug with the piefed API. There is a bug on Github, just have to make the Piefed devs aware.
It shouldn’t ever do that pasting into the app. Maybe @FuyuhikoDate@feddit.org is on an old version of Voyager?
If you ever see a vger.to link get pasted into a comment you’re composing on Voyager lmk. It should always be stripped out. If it isn’t, there is a bug.
At least with Linux, if I encrypt my hard drive, I have to enter my encryption password on every login, for some even during boot.
Look up TPM.

2·3 months agoThe new version of Capacitor has a totally new way of handling safe area and insets so I’m hoping this is resolved with that work!
You have to upload the image first, then there is an accessibility button to press.
Voyager supports alt text.
I think that should be supported via the API in Lemmy v1

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What Youtube channel has maintained high quality standards over the years?
1·3 months agoThat sounds like a bug. Please let me know next time, a screen recording would be very helpful! 🙏

I have a new beta out that should fix this! Thanks for reporting.
Thanks for checking! It makes sense what piefed is doing now and I have a new beta release that should fix this.
Thanks, this helps a lot! I’ll switch Voyager to use upvotes - downvotes

I write open source software because it’s fun, and I publish on Github because it gives me a stronger professional profile.
So yeah for me it’s the potential difference between putting food on the table or not. Github stars suck for many reasons but they do help you stand out.
