I came across this super adorable strawberry garland in a home goods store yesterday (but not the actual Home Goods). It delights me when I run across little kits in stores where I don’t expect crafting items, or at least don’t expect consistency in crafting items, like close-out type stores.

Now I probably could have found a similar pattern for garland on Ravelry, but sometimes a little kit just is fun to dig into because all the necessary bits are right there. I have a work conference coming up, and I am thinking this will fit easily in a baggie to take with me to the breakout sessions.

No wip pics to share yet as it were. Just wanted to share my excitement at finding such a cute little set. 🧶

    Ooh… I thought you meant the container being an unexpected place.

    I bought my wife two sewing kits (you know, the butter cookies tins we all fell for when we were younger) for her crochet stuff, but she hasn’t used them yet. My disappointment is insurmountable. But not in her crochet, she does nice work and it makes her happy. (I tried it once. I could almost get the stitches but I could not stitch correctly, and my hands aren’t really calm enough for it.)
