Agreed with you.
But not sure how they’d picture paint chipping off the wall in a way to connect the joke as quickly. Maybe they should have had the 3rd pane say “we used to drink straight out of the tap” and the last pane should’ve been them testing a sink.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah but now it opens up another mystery because these movies aren’t actually romantic.
Where do they live?
Did you not read the title of the post?

Games@lemmy.world•Valve confirms Steam Machine will be priced ‘like a PC with the same level of performance’English
2·3 months agoThat’s the wording a lot of other people would use, I’d say. I wouldn’t be able to put together a PC, and most people I know are like that. I have maybe two cousins that can. But we’d probably all agree that plug-and-play means that you buy something and it works just like that. For example, a refrigerator is likely plug and play, because you don’t expect to have to put together the components to make it work. You just plug it in and it works.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is too high for a pending authorization charge for a gasoline purchase?
1·3 months agoI could just as easily say the opposite from my experience and those around me. I get $1 charges all the time. Not all do, of course, but plenty do.
Very likely. Why not?
Haha yes, well explained. I’m familiar with this info (actually just finished reading Black Holes & Time Warps: Einstein’s Outrageous Legacy, by Kip Thorn which I highly recommend if you’re into this).
I meant event horizon, in this instance, but yes this comic isn’t meant to be accurate anyway (last pane). But to your original point - wouldn’t the black hole be a vacuum cleaner for all things within its event horizon?

(Can’t tell if you did that on purpose)
