Although it’s clear that Azerty manages to be considerably worse than Qwerty, the latter is still a terrible , keymap, designed to work with limitations on the first typewritters. A modern keymap designed for ergonomics and efficiency (like Ergo-L, don’t bother learn Bépo nowadays) is immensely better, although it needs a learning and adaptation period.
