Ha! Let me tell you an anecdote.

My apartment building is positioned around 7 to 10 minutes walking distance to IKEA, a huge department store and a few small grocery stores. People would be fine dragging a IKEA/department store/grocery store cart for 10 fucking minutes being loud and an ass. And of fucking course they wouldn’t bring them back.

Also, some of them would bring one INSIDE OF THEIR FUCKING APARTMENT and keep it on the balcony filling it with trash. In some cases, they would bring trash inside cart out to the trashcans (we have private that open only with our key) and leave cart with their trash at the trashcans.

On average, our apartments are expensive and most of our neighbors are wealthy enough to rent these apartments. Yet, we got swines all over our apartment block…

r/pics was the first sub I’ve noticed that went full political ass berserk mode during 2024. Nothing wrong in having a few political pics there. But when 95% of posts are political and gathering 30k+ upvotes while a really nice and peculiar photo of literally anything else gets like 200 upvotes max, this shit gets annoying in an instant. Political pics was never the main purpose of the sub. But mods shit on the “purpose” in favor of the agenda and popularity.

From the top of my head: clevercomebacks, whitepeopletwitter, blackpeopletwitter, adviceanimals, videos, therewasanattempt, facepalm and probably even more - all turned to be full on political berserk subs. The only way to use reddit today is to participate in tiny small micro subs that haven’t got stained by politics yet.

Ghostbusters are probably like Beetlejuice back in the day. I did watch Ghostbusters when I was young, but only this year watched Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice is weird movie with a simple premise that somehow got a traction with children. Same as Ghostbusters I guess. Nah, both ratings are crap. What everyone should to is to go read 1-2 stars reviews and 5 star reviews. If all 5 star reviews are same/similar in description, disregard 5 stars. If 1-2 and sometimes 3 stars reviews complain about the same thing which is something actually about the product and is not “delivery too slow”, disregard the purchase.

These 3k 5 star reviews can be transferred from another product or are bot reviews. Unless 1-2 stars are complaining about something trivial or can be classified as independent issues, you should seek a seller and a product somewhere else.
