idk what you mean by plug n play regarding the triples. i don’t know if you’ve ever had a triple setup, but it requires software to treat them as a single display and adjust for angles etc for a proper 48:9 fov

It’s more complicated than that, for instance i use software that processes telemetry data from my racing simulators that control my tactile transducers. there’s a million situations just like that if you do anything more than basic games on a basic screen.

What about surround for triple monitors? There’s just so many little things that become a pain in the ass the moment you switch to Linux when it comes to gaming outside of the most basic, straight forward instances.

i mean, the compatibility is true though. i would love to switch to Linux on my gaming machine, but i don’t wanna jump through the hoops.

it’s kind of funny to me but as growing up I was all about Nintendo, as I got into my later teens and early adulthood I was all PC and steam, I’m 35 now with the family tons of responsibility obligations but I’ve noticed as I get older I’ve been gravitating closer back to Nintendo and their dependability for good quality gaming and time well spent, I guess because my time is such a high premium, I stick to the games I know that are going to deliver.

I see your point, but I fundamentally disagree; I think it’s the perfect place to make such suggestions because it’s a community where that approach may not be the first idea.

I also think it’s the perfect place to make such suggestions because you’re guaranteed to have different opinions and outlooks, thus generating productive conversation… if everyone is mature and respectful which in this particular example they were not.

You’re paying a few bucks to ensure maximum compatibility for the games that you love to play, this isn’t rocket science.
