So yes, anyone could have technically done it before but now it’s removing the barriers that prevented every angry crazy person with a keyboard from being able to cause significant harm.

He’s not telling you to be terrified of the single bot writing a blog post. He’s telling you to be terrified of the blog post being ingested by other bots and then seen as a source of truth. Resulting in AI recruiters automatically rejecting his resume for job postings. Or for other agents deciding to harass him for the same reason.

I think they reset the ABMM after the updates. Last week I got caught in a vicious cycle of being attacked/defending myself and getting PVP lobbies until I finally got back into more chill lobbies. Streamers have to be held to the same standards as any other player. I think it’s a good thing when developers and players have dialog but just because a streamer is popular doesn’t mean they are bigger than the game. Embark owes them nothing.

All arc have pretty easy audio tells to be able to avoid their attacks.

Wasps need to get their targeting laser on you, giving you a chance to roll behind cover or throw a smoke. If they get you in the open out of stamina, you are going to have a bad time.

Hornets have to charge up their taser, you can roll to dodge those at the last second pretty reliably. Fireballs can’t attack unless their weak point is exposed. Pops have a window where you can sprint or roll out of their way (and can also be killed with the pickaxe if they catch you breaching)

The shredder is pretty easy to take down. It can’t shoot and move at the same time, allowing you to duck behind cover.

There are two anti arc grenades, the seeker grenades and the Wolfpack. They are really effective at taking down the big arc

Now I just need advice on how to take down rats that stitcher you in the back while you are distracted by the matriarch.

I like the gameplay of going from level one and scared of hornets to gaining higher gear and taking on the matriarch but it takes so much preparation to even get the expedition done, I wish they’d just give you all the rewards for completing it. I feel like I’ll never be able to actually complete an expedition and get any reward for doing so as an employed dad. I get maybe 3 hours a week to play video games.

If you don’t have an active quest or objective, mark the longest or most convenient extract point. If you get downed, you can’t pull up the map. This mostly applies to the survivor augment because it stops bleed out and lets you regenerate health if you stop crawling, you won’t make it to the exfil if you get downed outside it without the survivor augment

That’s kind of the opposite of how I play. I always keep a stack of rubber/plastic/chems to do the in round crafting and drop them once I’m ready to exfil
