I’m old and this is the story I grew up with. Good foundation for any of the Horus Heresy stuff

2·18 days agoBeautiful planning in my opinion, here’s hoping it’s a grand slam decider!
Well, not too much doubt that Ireland are not the team to beat this year! Going to be a great Saturday though, can’t wait to see what form Italy are in, they’ve shown such improvement these past few years and their youth pipeline’s really paying off.

2·18 days agoDon’t think Ireland have rebuilt to the class of last year. France have Dupont fit and starting, I think it’s theirs to lose!

6·2 months agoI completed all the current content on Witchfire, but Lies of P came on sale with the DLC so time to pick that up again (went to Ng++ before the DLC but didn’t have my save as I moved from Xbox to Steam). Worth another play through of course.

2·2 months agoI’m consuming Witchfire at an alarming rate (that doesn’t imply I’m getting anywhere but the way, I just can’t put it down?, it’s like finding Revenant 2 all over again but better. Don’t get me wrong, hack and slash is normally the souls like way, but there’s something about the movement and gun play that’s simply delectable.

7·3 months agoEthan Cohen’s poem “The Drunken Driver Has The Right Of Way”:
"The loudest have the final say, The wanton win, the rash hold sway, The realist’s rules of order say The drunken driver has the right of way.
"The Kubla Khan can butt in line; The biggest brute can take what’s mine; When heavyweights break wind, that’s fine; No matter what a judge might say, The drunken driver has the right of way.
"The guiltiest feel free of guilt; Who care not, bloom; who worry, wilt; Plans better laid are rarely built For forethought seldom wins the day; The drunken driver has the right of way.
"The most attentive and unfailing Carefulness is unavailing Wheresoever fools are flailing; Wisdom there is held at bay; The drunken driver has the right of way.
"De jure is de facto’s slave; The most foolhardy beat the brave; Brass routs restraint; low lies high’s grave; When conscience leads you, it’s astray; The drunken driver has the right of way.
"It’s only the naivest who’ll Deny this, that the reckless rule; When facing an oncoming fool The practiced and sagacious say Watch out — one side — look sharp — gang way.
“However much you plan and pray, Alas, alack, tant pis, oy vey, Now — heretofore — til Judgment Day, The drunken driver has the right of way.”
Not going to lie, you had me in the first half…
