Leute verstehen auch einfach nicht dass es Zionismus und Zionismus gibt. Das eine ist das Bestehen auf einem Existenzrecht des halt faktisch bestehenden Staates Israel, das Andere ist eine deutlich radikalere Position, die die Kolonisierung der noch bestehenden Palästinensergebiete fordert.

Wenn die deutsche Politik über die Unterstützung des Zionismus spricht oder von Antizionismus als Antisemitismus dann ist eigentlich immer die erstere Form gemeint (wobei ich auch die Gleichsetzung eines Antizionismus in diesem Kontext mit Antisemitismus für falsch halte) während auf Lemmy im allgemeinen Zionismus meist in der letzteren Bedeutung gemeint ist und deshalb können da auch zwei vollkommen normale und intelligente Personen (ganz zu schweigen von ideologisch aufgeladenen Lemmingen) darüber in Streit geraten. Und wenn man dann versucht ins Detail zu gehen und Positionen zu klären oder zu vergleichen wird man ganz schnell beschimpft.

The system is working exactly as intended by those who put it in place. Committing the working class to self-inflicted serfdom for the capitalist aristocracy was always the natural progression. Some variations of the system like Rhine Capitalism or social market economy may slow it down, but the only way to prevent this progression is to continually keep it in check, to keep fighting and continually wrest the power back from wherever it accumulates too much.

But people get complacent, their lives are good and cozy enough to stop fighting, forget their class consciousness… until it suddenly isn’t cozy anymore. First only the very poor suffer hard, but it keeps creeping up the social ladder. And when you realize that your own life has stopped being good, you are surrounded by those who are either delusional, don’t suffer enough yet, have grown accustomed to it or are clinging to the wrong solutions (like the various flavours of kicking down, i.e. racism, fascism etc.)

Peaceful is not the same as non-violent.

Be non-violent, but do disturb their fucking peace, do not let them ignore you.

That’s the exact feeling the movie left in me too.

I created a playlist that just makes me happy, it’s a colourful mix of old rock (for example: Ram Jam - Black Betty), nerdy stuff (like Bo Burnham, Tom Cardy, Flight of the Conchords), lefty bobs (ex.: ZSK - Antifascista, Ska-P - Colores) and old cartoon themes (Arabian Nights, Ducktales, TNMT) with lots of quality german stuff (Seeed, Wir sind Helden, Knorkator), many epic rap battles of history and some really gangster british drill rap with a twist (like Pete & Bas).

It’s just… I don’t know, the songs are mostly upbeat, funny and energetic. I used to be mostly a metal guy, but with age came the conclusion that whatever makes me happy and gives me some energy to get through the slog of the day is just… good.
