Not The Onion.

Not The Onion.

Yeah, this. The way all the reactionary centrists talk about Biden’s term, you’d think they were not constantly speculating about his mental state on the “liberal media”.

America to Pedonald:

Oh, right. That was Tommy Lee, I guess. For some reason I thought they both had sex tapes with her.

People should calculate those earnings into the Melania numbers.
That’s one HELL of a return on a $75 million dollar spend to bribe Pedonald. If I’m getting all the zeroes right, 7.8 billion / 75 mil is a multiple of 104. Where else are you going to get that kind of return on an investment?

Watching donnie dumbass trying to talk about this video was wild.
He seemed to be butthurt that people weren’t talking more about the bullshit “stolen election” narrative it was trying to push.

He was a huge one-hit wonder (?) as far as I knew who later made a sex tape with Pam Anderson. I would think a few Gen X and Gen Y might remember that. Oh, and he had appearances in shows like Simpsons and cameos in movies. The only movie I sort of remember him in is Joe Dirt.
I doubt many boomers or Gen Z/alpha know him for anything other than getting butthurt about Bud Light.

It’s like the Duck Dynasty grift.

I always think of his Kid N’ Play hair when I think of Kid Rock…

Maybe he can unload lead into some Bud Light to blow off some steam.

So very many dipshits on the right seem to have really fallen for the completely delusional idea that it was all going to be about the Democrats.
I mean…just how delusional can you be? Have they met the Republican Party?
Also, if these right wing dumbfucks think the average Democratic supporter could give a flying fuck about protecting either Bill or Hillary from any fallout coming their way over this, they are just projecting about how they behave over things like this. Of course, these are the same Einsteins that think “Big Tech” is liberal 🤣 , and because of that, Bill Gates is also someone we are interested in protecting from the law.

Did he even say thank you for those boos?
Okay, you got me to almost do a literal spit-take there. Thank you.

Time was we used to mock things like State Television that places with outright authoritarian governments or sham democracies had.
Now it’s just so blatant here. And honestly, the tilt to corporatism was not even all that subtle before. It’s just that now in addition to that, the media has to mindful of Donvict’s administration’s fee-fees, too. Just like delicate flowers in shithole countries.

I’m not understanding why you think that bill is relevant here.
A bill that didn’t pass from a party that has no power is the reason we have a party that authored Project 2025, is in power, and is gleefully trying to deport people like this 5 year old and his dad?

Eh, this seems a bit of Murc’s Law here.
You are saying a bill was proposed, didn’t pass, and now that Republicans are going buck-wild, trying to provoke a reaction so they can invoke the Insurrection Act, all because they have both houses, SCOTUS and the White House…this is caused by the Democrats not passing a bill?
What responsibility do the Republicans have in all this? Do they have any agency here? Seems they hold all the reins right now. Why are we blaming Democrats?

My favorite thing about all the reactionary centrism coming out of the “liberal media” and plenty of leftist scolds was how they were still referencing Godwin’s Law even after Godwin said it’s not really a law or a fallacy.
Then, in 2023, he said this. And even still we have the oblivious jackasses and Tone Police wagging their fingers at anyone comparing Pedonald to Hitler. I’ve asked some of these people bringing up Godwin’s Law if they know what Godwin has said about Donvict? Crickets.

Is Tulsi still part of that cult?

I could not agree more. At one point, I was Libertarian and was always told what great lit it was and it would explain so much, etc. Some time later I was no longer Libertarian and doing lots and lots of reading due to a layoff and trying to find something positive (and free, thanks to good libraries) to fill my time with in between responding to recruiters and job interviews, etc.
I decided I’d finally read Atlas Shrugged. The magnum opus. The book so many Libertarians point to. I had the time and the library had the book, so why not?
And…oh gawd. What drivel. What a shitty philosophical system. I had to force myself to finish reading it. LOL. And then shortly after, I started seeing all these “who’s John Galt?” and “gone Galt” stickers on cars.
Gag.
Or if it requires them to do even the least amount of change to their lifestyle. Or if they think that someone, somewhere, might think they are being a pussy for doing even the tiniest of things for the planet.
I had a roommate that would usually, pointedly, throw an aluminum can of soda or beer into the trash can. The recycle bin was right next to it, of course. When people would see him do this, and ask him, basically, “uh, what the fuck, man?” he’d mutter how he wasn’t “politically correct”.
In the 90s, “politically correct” was the phrase the conservatives used in the exact same way they use “woke” now. These days, I bet he does the exact same shit, but says he does it because he’s not “woke”.
