Book series is 10/10 for me.
I started watching the show originally and it was just so slow that I quit watching and picked up the books.
It’s one of my my favorite book series ever.
It’s been several years since I tried to watch the show. So I’m doing my first watch through currently. It’s still slow. Lol but I know the material so I’ll stick it out.

Someone explained ages ago that tv was still new and the actors were stage actors. And that was also reflected in how it was shot / lit.
Since then I’ve felt better about not watching it…
