      Eh, i’m a bit the opposite. Government is about representation of a people in a location, as the land changes the needs of the different sets of people change.

      A popular view is that it seems silly to have a few councillors representing only a few hundred people. I don’t, per se, agree with that. Placing an equal weighting on place as well as people seems important to me.

      I think it seems silly to call a few councillors representing thousands, or even tens of thousands of people any sort of Local Government as can happen in metro areas. I think thats a fairly popular view, but just like ‘people’ i also think it seems silly for a few councillors to represent larger and larger tracts of variable lands. Somewhere between those pillars is where well sized LGA’s live in my view.


      I’ve forgotten the ‘3 degrees’ bit, was that that nutty Nedlans Mayor? 😂
