If you turn Vegan, eating wise, & are strict (no cheating) about it, then you will eventually (if you started overweight-obese) will never be overweight-obese, for as long as maintain being a strict Vegan.

Now that I am eating a lot more processed, salted & sugary Vegan foods, revolution for the worst has happen in Vegan eating, when I started it was not Capitalist popular as now. I wonder if I was always wrong, I have always been Vegan thin, genes & always active enough. I leaning towards no, with a lot more processed, salted & sugary Vegan foods introduced into one’s way of strictly eating Vegan would result in overweight-obese Vegans.

What do you readers think?

I am not saying being thin is being healthy enough,

I don’t agree. I was large as fuck, and have been vegan for 10 years. Just because you’re vegan, doesn’t mean you won’t overeat. I was living proof of that. Especially if you eat faux meats and vegan cheeses and shit

I don’t understand this. You can still overeat while being a vegan, and it’s not terribly hard. It would be a lot harder if you did stick to whole foods and ate things as raw as possible, but I can’t imagine that’s the bulk of vegans.

    • I am not 100% sure, your reply addressed & thus answered my question. Because as a strict Vegan, I have overeaten & not become overweight-obese. But then again, as older I have gotten, lesser apatite I have had. I do not think Strict Vegans & Vegans that eat Raw will in itself mean they will become overweight-obese.

Can strict/no cheating Vegans become overweight-obese? With today’s a lot more processed, salted & sugary Vegan foods?

So RAW food eating, makes it hard to over eat?

As a strict vegan you can still eat more calories than you expend. When I first went vegan I gained 20lbs because of trying so many new and delicious recipes (at home from scratch), I have since cut back on portions and lost the weight, but its a conscious effort to not overeat.

Yeah whole, raw foods make it a lot harder because you don’t cook with fats. I guess if you just ate steamed veggies or roasted without oil it would have the same effect. Basically oil/fats can really sneak up on you, which is a big problem with processed foods.
