haha wow its been awhile for you hasnt it?

i like not having to have a microsoft account to utilize it.
you know whats really awesome? being able to decide if i want updates. or a tightly-integrated piece of shit llm.
being able to modify literally every aspect of the shell.
windows 3.1 was more theme-able than win11.
linux works out of the box for all the old people i repurpose machines for and i dont have to think about cloud-connect bullshit. fuck, half of them dont notice its not windows until i mention it.
better question is why the fuck would you use windows without being paid to?

im going to bet they just havent shifted their supply chains over yet. . i mean, i think it is happening but this shit takes a long time to fall out. it takes years to setup all the materials needed to create this stuff. it takes years to make substantial changes to them while they use up old stock, design new shit and then have to modify assemply a resource changes to get that stuff. and thats years before it hits your shelf.
i think there also might be a ceiling to usbc… my thinkpad lappy has a 230w power supply. can usb-c do that?
at some point (we may already be there) usbc components will be so ubiquitous where it matters in manufacturing regions that youll see literally everything under a certain voltage using it

anyone got a link?

ive been anticipating this for awhile… if you really want to be anonymous you will not use your own words verbatum… need some kind of semantic filter

i looked into this awhile back… i think it was either vlc itself or maybe audacity

just checked, i paid ‘frugal usenet’ 35$/year… bit more than i remember at just under 3.00/month.
thats scented sticker money

you just cant trust people whose friend is your strange

But why would dental insurance cover can openers?
you ever try an open a can with your teeth. its not pretty. clearly preventative
do can openers look menacing?

i never thought the teeth were hollow… theyre like can openers… just there to make the hole, look menacing, and prolly not covered by your dental insurance.
well, remember mastodon is just a platform of the twitterverse side of the fediverse.
theres more than just mastodon! george takei (@georgetakei@universeodon.com) is a good one…i also enjoy the devils panties (@DevilsPanties@mastodon.sdf.org)

on mbin multiple link posts are displayed so i can pick which one across the verse has the most comment activity in which to partipate
ex:

ha yeah… its my own reddit hate-boner in the shape of a public fediverse instance

sure but usenet access is stupidly cheap. i think im payin like 1$/month.
i spend more on stickers.
i have these shorts in a fuscia gingham
fashion is cyclical, right??
we can barely get adoption of nsfw tagging/metadata…
that said, this is prolly somewhat already trivial by setting an os/global environment var. and just having that bubbled up to the browser/app level. theres already paths for this to be used, but again… adoption is far more difficult than the technology required.

youll have the best luck by adding a nzb indexer… ive enjoyed nzbgeek
its cheap and has decreased my time-to-mediacenter drastically… the public torrent indexers kinda pale in comparison.
i like to have them all in there, but the usenet/nzb stuff seems to flow the fastest as theres generally more likely a matching file of %quality.
put down the pitchfork
