Honestly you will. You probably never compared the two side by side.
It’s incredibly apparent, you think it’s smooth but then when you go over to 120 Hz and then go back the difference is very apparent.

I have an fairly high end TV and honestly I don’t know what the point is because there is virtually no content that’s available for it.
Pretty much none of the streaming services go beyond 4K and often they’re at 1080p and I have to upscale to 4K. Consoles also don’t go above that 4k and again often in fact don’t even hit that.

I’ve said this before but if Apple really cared about their users then the iPad Pro would essentially just be a touchscreen laptop. It has the hardware to run a full-on operating system, but they keep it locked to iOS so they can sell you apps via the lockdown ecosystem.

It’s been a while since I used Mac OS but I remember it was quite janky even around 2020.
And of course the whole liquid glass thing is just bonkersly stupid. Vista did it years ago and it was terrible back then because it just made the UI hard to see. I’m not interested in how clever it is.

With how Microsoft are handling updates lately, no longer getting them might actually be a selling point

I say we should make the new world default currency the Danish Krone, lets really stick the knife in

See we keep getting told that AI is a great success and also a threat to humanity and that it’s going to take over the world in 5 minutes if we’re not careful. It has been literally years now and nothing has happened.
If that isn’t evidence of a bubble I don’t know what is. But somehow the complete lack of any meaningful progress seems to convince people even more

Every time we ever visit York my dad always pulls out his copy of “snickerways and alleyways” of York circa about 1960, and we always have to do at least a bit of it.
He also has a bunch of walking guides written in the 1900s that we try and do sometimes, they include instructions like turn left at the old barn, and continue on past the oak tree. So they tend to be a bit hard to follow.

Well I suppose at least it’s subject matter related, unlike when he usually opens his mouth.

Yeah I’m sure we’re all in line for a huge payout. lawsuits like this are never actually about the people they claim were harmed, it’s always about a law firm getting a big cash payout and the people they supposedly represent get sod all.

He probably think he was doing it himself. Old mushy brain that he is.

Usually oppressive regimes that let international tourists in are generally smart enough to leave them alone. For example I would probably be perfectly safe going to the Philippines.
The problem the US has is regardless of what their policy might actually be, and of course it changes on a daily basis, the ICE goons they hire don’t have enough space in their pea-sized brains for rules and regulations, they are so damn trigger happy that’ll go for anyone. Including people they’ve been explicitly told to leave alone.

Just refuse to go. There’s no way they can force you to do that and it would be a slam dunk for an unfair dismissal if they decided to really dig their heels in.

Pretty soon the US dollar is going to tank to the point at which no one is going to be able to afford to buy games. So there was zero point me putting my life at risk in order to advertise there.

You just believe the haters because you have confirmation bias.
Well if by that you mean I’ve used it and it’s crap, then yeah, I’ve confirmed it.

No that’s just filtering out successful games from the unsuccessful ones.
I want to filter out the shovelware from the data set so we actually know what the ratio of successful to unsuccessful ones are. Since it’s not useful for me to know that shovelware isn’t successful.

The problem is a lot of the games will be shovelware that no one in there right mind is interested in playing. It would be nice if we could filter out to only serious attempts. Because that’s the metric that’s more relevant. Of all of the games released by developers that were really trying to release a game, and not just an asset flip, how many of those games succeeded.

I’m sure that’s the vision but I’m not entirely sure that Elon Musk is the man to bring it about.

He’s only got security clearance because he’s a Nazi. A normal person would have been denied it.
It’s a bad store more than a bad launcher (although it’s also a bad launcher that lacks basic features)
