I love working with oil pastel, It is a great medium for creating painterly effects with mark making. I have made and sold many landscapes and floral pieces using this medium over the years.

@TheWeeOwl I used to use oil pastels a lot but I was very heavy handed. Do you use any mediums/brushes to blend or just work directly with the pastels?

@killyourfm I hacked and region-switched a Japanese New 3DS a couple years ago. Recently got back into playing it, and it's now my favorite console ever.

CFW recs:

  • GYTB for custom badges
  • NDS Forwarder to load DS games on the home screen (doesn't work with some romhacks, otherwise use Twilight Menu)
  • FTPD for file transferring (I never take my SD card out because it's such a pain on the N3DS)

    @gamingonlinux given your handle I'm wondering if you had any tips for Linux Discord. I'm in a LDR with my wife and the only reason I keep a Windows machine around is for screen sharing on Discord. I've tried about every work around and none of them have gone well. I run Mint.
