Donald Trump has repeatedly pledged to slash the national deficit and curb debt during his second term, but a sobering assessment of the nation’s financial health by one of the federal government’s premier fiscal watchdogs suggests Trump 2.0’s policies have not only collectively pushed the federal deficit significantly ...
Well how this is supposed to work is to borrow in bad times and pay it back in good. Clinton, to his credit did do this. Trump did the complete opposite in his first term. And the main reason we are in bad times now is because of him.
Yeah but I think any win she makes in sports should be qualified by the fact that she was thieving from her teammates and trainers. Those things are a lot more important to know about than her athleticism IMO.
Meh, whenever I go through spotify looking for the albums I like, about 40% of them aren't even on there. You're better off not bothering with their shite.
Badly designed smart homes are bad. It's quite easy to design a smart home that still has light switches but ones which are rarely needed due to the house turning on and off the lights for you for example. Someone just did a bad job on this one. It was probably some building company that just threw in shiny stuff without considering how it would work.
Yes. Lots of people do make bad decisions when designing a smart home. You need to think it through. This is why it's best done by the homeowner. Following a couple rules will get you pretty far though:
Don't install anything that relies on a cloud subscription
Don't install anything that won't continue to function as a "dumb" home if the smarhome functionality breaks.

Just let these people keep lying under oath and then if we can get a mid term election to flip congress, they'd better prosecute the fuck out of all of them.

Why do you feel you need 10Gbit? I only just upgraded mine to 2.5gbit when I went WiFi 7 and doubt I will even have one endpoint doing that any time in the near future, considering it will max out the wifi router even at that speed. I don't expect multiple at the same time for many many years.
I have no patience for people who's approach to life is to criticize folks who are doing there best to contribute no matter how small when in most cases they are doing nothing positive whatsoever themselves, just bringing poorly researched accusations of others work.
I'm happy to have a debate based on evidence and research, If the best you can bring is to bring others down with zero effort accusations, there is no value of having you around.
Yeah I tend to wait until I could at least hypothetically use it because you pay a big premium to "future proof". 10Gbit is still too pricey for me to roll out.
I can summarize it for you. No wifi 7 routers support true wifi 7 multi link operation. Some support band switching but also in a limited way. Some are better or worse implemented than others.
I mean at least batteries is one of the main areas where improvements will make big improvements. Even when GPU's double in power, I can barely see the difference in graphics. For my computers, the only thing that seems to matter any more is how much RAM and disk I have free.. Batteries are something I never have quote enough of, OTOH.
Yes, if you want to put all your data on your NAS and access it remotely, it can make good sense. I wouldn't personally do it, but it's a valid reason to do it.
