I know everyone has been really on edge since Trump got inaugurated, but we can't start denying obvious things like:

  • Trans men are oppressed by misogyny.
  • Trans men don't oppress trans women.
  • Socialization is real; it's literally the main concept that debunks gender essentialism.
  • The patriarchy does not give AFABs privilege for masculinity; it punishes them for it.
  • Trans men are not part of the patriarchy.

The genderqueer community cannot abandon trans mascs, especially during a time of heavy transphobia, heavy abortion restriction, heavy medical scrutiny. Rising them up will not pull you down, its not us vs them, punch up not lateral.
