Coming up on 3 weeks since I asked Facebook to provide me with a download link to the data logs it has on me. Still "pending" -- this seems like a really long time.

Once I get them (if I get them) I'm deleting everything there and canceling my account.

I at some point just re-issued the request.
Also, I didn't receive the email notification that the download was available the first time 'round, so I missed the download window (1 week), of course.

I can relate to this SO MUCH. I even see this in my research interviews - establishing rapport with neurodivergent strangers comes extremely easy. NTs, on the other hand? They're different 😆
