I tried to get to the supposedly free version of Babylon 5: The Gathering and it says it's private. Other videos play. What are you seeing about Youtube being down?
I applauded when Scandinavian countries refused to offload Tesla cars from ships at the dock. I wonder what China will do to evict all Tesla cars from their country.
I've turned off all the history tracking on my google account for years. I'm sure somewhere in their data lake, the data exists. They just don't make it available to see on the web. I think this probably because when presented with a subpoena, they seems to have the data. Shocking, I know.
With a recent DOXing data breach, it's time to send GTFO mail to their homes, schools, churches, etc to let them know that when Trump is gone, they'll be hunted even more viciously than they are hunting their victims.
Here in the SF Bay Area, most of the malls and stores don't allow the Salvation Army or the Hari Krishnas or any group to solicit. I don't even recall a Girl Scout Troupe selling cookies. I still keep the "Don't donate" Vouchers in my wallet just in case I run across a bell ringer in front of a Chick-Fil-A or Hobby Lobby that somehow got approved by the local planning commission.
Nana had a bunch of ash trays from Vegas casinos. They were much classier that these things. And I seriously doubt she ever ate at any of these places in her life.
Attorney: So you never met the deceased.
Pathologist: Never saw him before he appeared on my autopsy table.
Attorney: So, Mr. A could in fact still be alive and walking around.
Pathologist: Well, I've got his brain in a jar in my office but I supposed he could be out there somewhere practicing law.

I hope British Leland fixed the Triumph design in the TR6. My Dad's TR4 required you to loosen the engine mounts and pull the engine up just to change the fan belt.
Following Charlie Kirk’s assassination and the Trump administration’s promise to go after the “radical left” a study showing most domestic terrorism is far-right was disappeared.
In my local Target and Walmart, the underwear section is a mess with all packaging scattered amongst the various walls. I can tell when they're short staffed by how disorganized it is. I buy stuff from CostCo now for better quality and that section as well as ALL the clothing tables are kept in order.
A neighbor pointed out to me that Venmo, Paypal, and other such services lack the consumer protections of a credit card. So, I don't use them. If I have a problem with a purchase, I know my credit card vendor will contact the merchant and deal with it. Even if the vendor says "All sales are final", I'll get a refund when I challenge the sale.
I had a long discussion with my bank's branch manager about this. They assured me that I don't have overdraft protection. I've yet to have any fees since I keep a reasonable balance. I want my debit card to fail and my check to bounce. He assured me that's what would happen.
Imagine mentioning climate change and the raising temperature at an on-site meeting in TX when you, from BC, Canada get called into HR for being culturally insensitive. That shit may be illegal in TX but it's not in CA. See you in court.
I'm perfectly fine switching back to a "feature phone" aka dump phone that takes phone calls and sends texts. If it also could be used as a music/podcast playiner, that'd be great too.
I wonder what would happen if the names, addresses, and schools of the families of everyone that works in the sheriff's department were blasted out on social media.
Now that Youtube has returned to NO AD BLOCKING enshitification, I wonder what Youtube Creators are seeing with their viewing metrics. I switched to In Cognito or Private viewing, which may effect their metrics and monetization.
Blackberries are coming into season. These are volunteers so they are a touch on the astringent side, not great for raw eating. Sugar helps cut that so last year I made a lot of blackberry jam. I probably have enough to get through this year so I'm looking for alternative ideas for long term storage. If not I'll make more jam. ...
I had a family friend of my Nana from Hungary make a dessert from blueberries before my eyes when I was 14.
Rinse and place blueberries in a saucepan. If they're a bit tart, add 1 or 2 Tablespoons of sugar. Warm of medium heat until some of the berries pop, creating juice. Optionally, add 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice. Remove from heat and let cool. Serve warm or chilled with a large dollop of sour cream.

I left FB before the pandemic and don't regret it. When I still had an account, I had to verify my account by sending them my DL. I did it but blanked out my address and DL #. That was invasive enough. This is just insane.
It's been sounding like a dead fan bearing in the rack for a while, there's really old machines in there. Turns out no! The drive did the screeching. I was stunned for a second when the noise stopped upon its removal. ...
At least it gave you warning. I woke up to the 4TB WD gold drive being a brick. Doesn't show up on Linux or MacOS. The electronics are dead. No SMART warnings. Nothing. Don't think I'm buying another of these things. And the price went up (of course).
I have long fantasized about doing this exact same thing, especially to MAGA-types who somehow got my address and are mailing me requests for donations. Someone in those groups as well as THE SALVATION ARMY have discovered that those postage guaranteed reply envelopes cost money and prompt this response. So now all that stuff requires a stamp if you want to reply. I hope that's cut down on their fundraising efforts.
I wonder if anyone in the Badminstration, specifically the Department of Agriculture, have thought about all the crops that will go unharvested in the fields starting around August because migrants won't go out to pick them for fear of being deported by ICE.

When that bicycle rider flipped off Trump's motorcade during his first Badministration, the social media blowback got her fired from her job. She ran for Congress and won.
I hope this woman has a similar outcome.
Side query: I wonder if anyone in Child Protective Services is investigating Melon Husk's home environment for his kids. He's an resident alien who lied on his immigration paperwork and could be subject to deportation.
If that stuff is anything like Crystal Lite's Fruit Punch, it stains EVERYTHING. Bleach didn't get it out. But Oxyclean Ultra worked. You know. Just incase you get some on a t-shirt.
I read a post on Mastodon from someone in Ontario Canada that was proposing shutting off all export of oil and electricity to the US. The thing that made me doubt this was they were also calling for impeaching 45 (again!). That would leave Vance which scares me even more.
