Am pretty disappointed that the anime didnt adapt one of my favourite parts of the A Silent Voice manga, i.e., the movie-making and premiere of the movie. I get that they couldn't add a lot to the movie, since... it's a movie, so you can't squeeze every single detail in it. But after reading the manga, it just feels like an entirely brand new story.:ablobcatbongoultra:
It's really insane how anime studios, like MAPPA, continue to push out top-tier animations like nothing. Pretty concerned if till today the employee-overwork situation is still a thing.
After all, MAPPA is just another MADHOUSE...:blob_sad:
I still think Shingeki no Kyojin is slightly overrated, but I personally believe it deserves all the praise it gets. Can't wait to start watching Season 2 tonight :blob_hype:
It's not like I don't like watching live-action movies anymore. In fact, I am still in the middle of an epic k-drama. But, other than that, I don't really see any good recommendations from friends anymore. It's the same convoluted over and over again.
I mean, you could say the same thing for anime as well. BUT, it's anime, aka, Japanimation. Sometimes, you're gonna feel like it's a waste of time, but that's animation for you. And you can judge an anime by its cover, yk... Maybe not all the time, but mostly...
It's like saying I don't like Gumball because it had no revolutionary themes. Sure man...
Unlike anime, where I have to specially dedicate time so I can watch it when I am slightly relaxed or when I have the motivation to watch, reading novels is something which I can do anytime.
Just finished:
Vol1 of Mushoku Tensei,
a bit from Makeine (Too Many Losing Heroines!) and
the entirety of Mikkakan no Koufuku (Three Days of Happiness). My favourite so far. :blob_love:
Also, seems to be a hangover habit of mine from when I first started reading, but I would always try to finish a book as fast as I can, then re-read it to properly digest its contents. Woahhhhh, at least I can now say that anime did one thing good in my life: Re-kindle my love for novels lol.
THERE'S NO FREAKING WAY I'M ACTUALLY SAYING ANIME HELPED ME! UNLESS...
I have an unusually large amount of accounts which I need to delete immediately once holidays start.:ablobcatcry: why is this happening to me noooooo...
Piano skills are getting worse by the day, it's about time that I got my game together and organise a routine for studying, playing piano, and reading/watching stuff
