For me too!

I was used to Gnome and Ubuntu style, and since I bought a Tuxedo I use their OS with KDE, and even if I love a lots of things there is often little things like gesture that are different and I sometimes miss.

Bookmark vault/archive links tool that is outside the browser

Looking for a link archiving tool to save links that i have no intention of viewing anytime soon. it needs to be able to sort bookmarks by folders and sub-folders, tags are just not my thing. It doesn't have to be anything crazy but it needs to be offline first and have the ability to export bookmarks in a readable format ...

Hi, if you like very lite solution you can export your bookmark in an html file.

This way you can see it as a web page and edit it with any text editor.

I gather as much political context as possible before I even look at the code.

 Finally, I go back to my manager with a risk assessment, not with a concrete estimate. I don’t ever say “this is a four-week project”. I say something like “I don’t think we’ll get this done in one week, because X Y Z

That's sad but that's not the first time in heard that.

In the KDE Plasma version 6.5 the screen magnifier work well with, for example Meta+Ctrl+mouse scroll.

However, for a screen reader I have no idea how it's should work and cannot test.

Nice read.

The entire smartphone ecosystem is designed to be used almost exclusively through Google or iOS services: government apps, banking apps, prepaid health-insurance apps, and countless other examples. Even though a phone is a handheld computer, it's far from being a computer in the sense of giving users real control over the software they run.

That's for me one of the biggest problem.

J'avais acheté une tablette bq édition ubuntu touch à l'époque.

Je l'avais utilisé un peu, j'avais même acheté une souris et un clavier tactile et je l'avais utilisé comme laptop pendant un moment. Ça marche bien et sans trop ramer pour moi.

Par contre il y a un manque criant d'appli maintenu, ça c'est bien vrai !! 😔
