The funniest thing about crypto is that people THINK it's a hedge against the US economy, that it'd go up when the dollar becomes volatile, but no!

It's actually tied to 3 main factors:

  • the price/availability of electricity
  • the price/availability of semiconductors
  • the hype

And all 3 are generally tied to how well the market is doing! So it's just a leveraged bet!
