Watching tonights election debate in Denmark, I am very disappointed to see that 3 out of 12 parties are running on an anti-Muslim agenda: Danmarksdemokraterne, Dansk Folkeparti, and Borgernes Parti.

Denmark is an extremely well functioning country with just 3 percent unemployment, low crime rates, and a high level of happiness, and our Muslim minority is indeed a part of that. Were they not here, Danish employers would be missing hundreds of thousands of employees.

This makes no sense at all.

Simple and light alternatives to Notepad, Paint and Calculator (Win11 lol)

So I was setting up this new laptop, and after security updates I went on cleaning the trash through Powershell, and after removing all unwanted packages I was going to let a note on the desktop and there was no Notepad in the context menu... oops, I messed up I thought, I must have removed stuff I shouldn't, so just to be safe ...

This is Francine who has lived at a Lowe’s in Richmond, Virginia for many years. She is cherished by the community. On the 18th of this month she walked onto a freight truck and got shipped to a distribution center in Garysburg, NC (620 Lowe's Blvd Rd). The cybersecurity community on Reddit responded in disbelief this month when a self-described Air National Guard member with top secret security clearance began questioning the arrangement they'd made with company called DSLRoot, which was paying $250 a month to plug a pair of laptops into the Redditor's high-speed Internet connection in the United States.

I spent a few days working with another researcher to dig into the history and provenance of DSLRoot, one of the oldest "residential proxy" networks with origins in Russia and Eastern Europe. Its proprietor used to call himself the "USProxyKing" on the forums, and built his proxy business through pay-per-install affiliate programs and by uploading booby-trapped cracked software and movies to the file-sharing networks.

Trader reveals he lost $28 million to bad copy-paste After apparently exhausting all his other options, a trader has put out a call to "all skilled hackers and white hats out there" to help him recover 7,912 Renzo staked ETH (ezETH) he inadvertently sent to an inaccessible address back in June. The tokens were priced at a little over $28 million at the time, and are currently priced at a little less than $26 million. According to the trader, he copied the wrong address to his clipboard before making the trade, which rendered his funds permanently inaccessible. Short of finding a vulnerability in Renzo, the trader's only real choice is to plead with Renzo to change their smart contract in such a way as to release the funds. While this is technically possible, Renzo has told the trader they could not grant his request due to "regulatory limitations".

    Internet streams is super easy.

    1. Create a file named "something.strm"
      Example: wshe.strm

    2. Paste URL to stream in file.
      Example: http://sheradio1055.com/ListenLive.m3u

    3. Browse to file in file manager (in Settings) and make it a favorite.

    4. In Favorites edit it to give it a picture (if desired).

    Also, why Jellyfin? I have been using Kodi for over 12 years. I can never seem to warrant the Plex/Jellyfin need.

    The only benefit I see to JF or Plex (or any transcoding on-the-fly application) is scaling down content to less-capable devices or watching content away from home.

    I have neither of those needs and would rather save the space on the NAS for an already transcoded file.

    I would love for VLC to become the defacto player in Linux. The distros could build a skin interface to make it "pretty" but, rely on VLC for the work.

    Every machine on every OS I've installed and made VLC my default player for everything. It always "just works".

    This will likely hit UniSuper's bottom-line. I just know that in an effort to reduce costs and save the company they will layoff alot of people including the team that pushed for 3rd-party backups. The same team that is saving their ass right now.
