Yesterday, someone (I've forgotten who) posted something that basically said "quit doom-scrolling and go make something". Seemed like solid advice, so I listened to it. Here's the start of what will hopefully be cute, warm, fingerless gloves.

I'm making an emotional support chicken for my niece who is dealing with a big meanie at work. I have this leftover yarn someone gave me - it may be enough, it may not. Or maybe she gets a short chicken. Only time will tell.

The Incas had to work the site to create a flat surface for the buildings. One important consideration was drainage. It rains a LOT here, and you need to account for that, as well as keeping a steady, fresh supply for the people. But after so many centuries some signs of decay are bound to happen. Having people stomping about doesn't help, so they restrict the number of visitors.

More llamas! This one was very friendly and loved neck scritches. She would lean her neck and head on you when you gave them to her as a way of thanks. Or pinning you in place so you could not stop. Either way.
