Oopsie! It's Signal Gate, the sequel. A random person was added to a law enforcement group chat that included officers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). @Vivaldi I love it when I imagine some reps thinking that this initiative is a great idea because of X, Y, Z.

Then some people are put in charge.
Once ready, some other people test it, they like it, it can go live.
And seconds after the go-live:
"Sht, some links to Mastodon are missing"
"Sht, forcing a registration was not such a good idea"
"..."

My instance is , I'd love to make German friends, but is a barrier 😕

Is it because we don't specify the language we use in each post? Are there any option to detect languages and ?

I'm referring to what I consider as a significant amount of boosts, but they actually come from a "Proton" account on Lemmy:

In fact, @protonprivacy boosts actually any kind of posts, I really don't understand the logic of their bot. Probably the same kind of code as the one in then.

I have myself left the world to become a , I'm proud of my , but after more than 6 months, I must confess that it's still hard. I live every day of it, but I'm much further away from my comfort zone than when I was working there, even when I battling to "over exceed my objectives".

So let's not give up, follow our dreams and stick to our core .
