I'm close to finishing Fire & Blood, it's a wonderful read. It's been a while since I've read anything of note because I find it hard to pick up a book while I'm at home but I've found that reading a little bit everyday during my commute to work works. Once I'm done with it I feel confident that I can begin tackling the other books that have been shamefully collecting dust on my shelf for a while.
In the same vein there's also Mbin, which people seem to have forgotten about for some reason, and Sublinks, which was still under development the last time I checked.
GOG has recently been sold to one of its original founders so it no longer has any ties with CDProjekt. Purchasing games on it now means you're supporting GOG itself, which is nice.
For what's worth, I was born and raised in a country where toilet paper is usually all you have to work with and even I don't think that's very hygienic.
Well, it seems to be a huge improvement over the LCD screen on the OG Switch so there's that. Besides, an OLED hardware revision isn't a given by any means, it's just speculation.
What the hell, this is exactly how I feel. I don't have a partner though so I don't know how I'd behave in this case. I hope that, if I ever find someone, I can at least trust them enough to not question the sincerity of their compliments.
Hades II, Silksong, Blue Prince, Ball x Pit, Mandragora, Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, Citizen Sleeper 2, Dispatch, Absolum, Megabonk, Constance, Wheel World, Cloverpit, that's only a fraction of this year's releases and I'm not even counting the more ambitious titles like The Alters and Expedition 33. Indie fans have been eating good for sure.
@[email protected] on Mastodon: "Hello, We're Firefox, The Only Browser That Hasn't Hit Itself In The Dick With A Hammer. For years now, folks use us because of our un-hammered dick. Now, you may be wondering why today we've brought this hammer and pulled out our dick. Well I'm glad you asked--"
Oh, this happened near me. Some strong winds a couple of days ago tipped it over. The greek temple-looking thing in the background belongs to a (in)famous chain store from Southern Brazil and most of their units have a statue just like this one on the parking lot. I assume they're there because its owner ("Havan's bald old man", as he's widely known) is very conservative and idolizes the US, which probably helps explain the tackiness in display here.

In the monthly Ladybird update videos on youtube they compare its progress with other major browsers and Servo doesn't seem to be too far behind Ladybird itself.

In the lore of Lord of the Rings, it is said that the supreme being of that universe personally created both men and elves and since men were his favorite creations, he gave them the gift of... having pretty short lives (wow, thanks). Well, octopuses have a much shorter lifespan than us, so if our universe's creator is anything like the Middle Earth's then there's a good chance they are his favorites.
Have you played Thrive? It aims to be the game that Spore should have been and it's pretty cheap. It's a work in progress but the cell stage is already a lot deeper than Spore's.
I know that feeling. The first time I've seen my state being mentioned in international news was because of the catastrophic floods that happened last year.
It's so wild to me that shelving a fully complete movie can somehow be better to a studio than simply releasing it. I'm glad that they changed their minds.
