"Menschen betrügen manchmal, deshalb darf man eine Maschine, die ziemlich verlässlich falsche Informationen verbreitet nicht deshalb kritisieren" ist ein ziemlicher Hot Take für eine checks notes Bundestagsabgeordnete.

Selbe Logik: "Menschen fahren manchmal zu schnell, daher dürfen Selbstfahrende Autos so schnell fahren, wie sie wollen." oder "Menschen machen manchmal den Grill an und erzeigen CO2, daher braucht eine automatisierte Produktionsstraße sich nicht an CO2 Limits zu halten".

Das ist eine Kapitulation. Die Aufgabe politischen Gestaltungswillens weil man an Technikdeterminismus glaubt.

Nicht ideal für die Obfrau des Ausschusses für u.a. Medien.

@tante Das wäre wohl der psychologische Effekt von «Deception Fatigue» [1], wo niemand mehr Lügen als sozial unakzeptabel zurückweist, sondern sie höchstens noch mit «aach, eS lüGEn dOCH eH aLLE!» abtun.

@tante I'm so triggered due to the wind energy NIMBY crowd when I hear infrasonic, I got very suspicious here. After checking and rechecking I can relax. But Benn Jordan even disproved problematic levels of infrasonic from wind turbines himself [1]. That's in line what I learned from other sources [2].

That's a really interesting fact about data centers I didn't had on my list.

Also ich finde, jeder sollte einfach ne BahnCard100 bekommen.

Und weil ja alle Effizienz wollen, sparen wir uns den Unfug gleich und die Bahn fährt fahrscheinlos.

@tante Ich habe vor mehr als 15 Jahren im Bereich E-Ticketing/ÖV gearbeitet. In der Schweiz. Bei einem Kundenbesuch, die neben unserer Lösung gerade neue Fahrkartenautomaten am installieren waren, hatte der Kunde eine Aussage getroffen, die mir geblieben ist: Wenn der ÖV für alle kostenlos wäre, so dass es keine Fahrkarten mehr bräuchte und entsprechend auch keine Infrastruktur dafür und Kontrollen, dann würde das Geld einsparen.
