Retrocomputer lovers might enjoy this Sharp PC-1251 with cute little tape drive and printer on display at Takayama's Showakan Museum.

It caught my eye as an ancestor of my still-working Sharp PC-E500 that was my university "calculator".

After taking Shinkansen services from Osaka to Morioka, I rode through the snow and mountains on the Yamada Line, then caught the Sanriku Railway to Kamaishi along the coast hit by the 2011 tsunami.

When I was a stick figure teenager at university I could finish a 6 litre tub of ice cream in a single Friday night and this would happen frequently during the year. I'm Australian, though.

Apparently the koala was a bit upset because it preferred trains or trams. The bus driver then explained the trackless Brisbane "metro" and it then demanded to be taken to New South Wales.

The koala's parents blamed Crossy Road for the incident, although commentators pointed out that Frogger predated that game.

Today I learned that Apple Air Pods Pro in noise cancelling mode perfectly cancels the clicking of a geiger counter. You would not know it was making a sound. I hope that this is not relevant to /your/ day.

But that may have broken their systems.
