  • Encourager des garçons qui ont pas l'amour à facile à faire du sport, travailler sur eux-même et prendre soins d'eux. c'est à la base une bonne idée. Mais ça a tourné dans Si tu violes pas t'es un beta/gamma/delta/omega avec tellement de catégorie de sous hommes que même le Omegaverse que lisent les jeunes filles est simple en comparaison. My rpg club took the incdusivity road in the 2010, and is now a very inclusive/diverse place. We do have the blue haired enbies that riqht winger hate, and some old players who after acouple of beer starts complaining about RPG becoming woke (An inclusive place means they're welcome too)

We do have a couple of women only group and a point someone launched a men only table. While we had one of the old player complaining about the women only game, no blue haired enby complained about the men only game.
So I have the impression that this whole women only space are OK, men only space aren't is some bullshit.

Note that, this worked becaused the gender specific game include people identifying as this gender, are the exception, and have a justification. It's not I don't like wo•man so I want only a gender but * I want a game exploring masculinity/feminity and therefore will limit the cast gender*

We have (ultra) light aircraft not much more expensive than a good car, we have helicopter with vtol abilities. Licencing isn't that more complex than for a car.

The problem are the maintenance cost as a failure would be dramatic, and the noise meaning people don't want them over their bacxyard/balcony

Society changed massively since Napoleon. Over 200 years the society culture of a generation ship would also drastically diverge from ours. Moreover, I can't think of many piece of technology which can keep working for 200 years without a few massive overall.

Salut les gens,

Ma fidèle Forerunner 235 est en train de me lacher, la montre va sur ses 10 ans (première activitée enregistrée fin 2016), j'en ai fait des choses avec elle. Bref., je vais devoir me mettre sur le marché pour une nouvelle montre de Running...

Je cherche une montre de "sport" plus qu'une smart watch. Les notifs sur la montre, j'avoue que c'est parfois pratique, mais la musique où la possibilité de répondre à un message depuis la montre je vois pas de besoin.

Niveau sport, principalement course à pied, avec une à deux sortie longue (3-6h) par an. Donc une batterie décente un cardio fiable. Je sais que les montre récente ont un module cartographie que je mettrais aussi en "nice to have". Autre sport, Skate-board (ballade), Cylisme et natation occasionnel (mais donc si bonne étanchéité c'est mieux). Voire si je trouve un capteur cardiaque séparé art-martiaux/escalade où porter une montre au poignet peut poser problème.

Un autre critère c'est la durée de vie reparabilité, j'ai pas envie de changer de montre dans 2 ans car le bracelet ou la batterie me lache.

J'ai vu que chez garmin les prix sont devenus n'importe quoi avec des montres qui ont le prix d'un PC.

Oui et non, Il y a des feature montre de sport que j'utilise, en particulier tout ce qui va être distance/rythme cardiaque/vitesse. Surtout pour des sessions plus fractionnées où je veux tenir une vertaine vitesse une certaine distance

A huge factor is how much data you can process at a given time. Often, in the end it's not that complicated per sample of data. But when you need to run on terra bytes of data (let's say wide angle telescopes or CERN style experiment) you need huge computer to simulate your system accurately (How does the glue layer size impacts the data?) and process the mountain of data coming from it.

Nowaday, practically speaking it's just a building full of standard computers and software process dispatching the load between the machines (which isn't trivial especially when you do mass parallel processing with shared memory)

Typically, there is already relatively big regulation on software used for critical activities. You can't just deplpy a new software to process medical images or regulates the engine power of a plane.

Did the law needed to be uptaded in the era of AI most likely. However, I doubt you could have used a "AI" whatever it is, without any paperwork

I wouldn't worry too much about the actual edition people could play with it 40 years ago, and there is enough nostalgia to do a 2025 reprint, so they must be somehow playable.

With my limited shadowrun experience,

  • Beware of Decker going to the Matrix and mage doing Astral projection, it "splits the party" lead to a player having their own overcrunchy game-phase spending a hour to open a door or locate someone. I believe some latter edition got better but the early one where like their own game in the game

  • I see shadowrun like the diesel engine of "crunchy system"it's heavy, slow to start, but there is a point where it runs smoothly

  • Just like every other crunchy system, and especially older one, feel free to ignore half of the rule (You know the meme about aircraft carrier, but more seriously never saw a GM caring about the Grenade dispersion roll)
