That's kinda how I felt about it too.

Zahille7 ,

The Sam's/Costco ones are like $5 across the country. I don't think I've seen one for more than $6

Zahille7 ,

I had no idea David Dastmalchian did this podcast. Nor that he paints his nails black.

I first saw him as that one Joker henchman in The Dark Knight, and I've been surprised anytime he pops up since

Zahille7 ,
Zahille7 ,

I enjoyed the first one, which is a shame because it released like right before the evidence and allegations came out about Roiland, so it left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

I thought the game was fun and hilarious (I have an immature sense of humor), and it had enough random bullshit for you to find and enjoy that I didn't care about the low points of the game. Being able to watch three full B-movies from the 80s-90s was awesome imo, and I absolutely loved finding the RedLetterMedia Easter egg. Then it turns out he's a piece of shit hitting on minors and teens.

I want to play this second one, even though I've seen literally nothing for it other than it was coming out at some point. But at the same time, I'm hesitant because Roiland kinda fucking sucks.

Zahille7 ,

Maybe because I said I hadn't seen anything for the game other than the announcement?

Columbia University, Cuny most 'hostile' campuses for Muslims: Cair ( www.middleeasteye.net )

The Council on American Islamic Relations (Cair) said this week that not a single one of the 51 US university campuses it investigated since 2024 is "unhostile" to Muslim students, as well as those protesting or speaking out in favour of the Palestinian cause. ...

Zahille7 ,

They really should've capitalized those abbreviations. I thought "cuny" was a word, until I realized they're saying CUNY

Zahille7 ,

Lol what the fuck?

Zahille7 ,

Nice. How'd you cook it? I used to work at a steakhouse and we broiled ours at like 450-475 F. Ours were also pretty thick too

Zahille7 ,

And the Son, Emulation?

Zahille7 ,

Remember Gamefly?

Gamepass wasn't a bad idea, and it was actually pretty cool when it first came out. It was basically Microsoft's Gamefly.

Zahille7 ,

I went down a rabbit hole of emulation last year. I got PCSX2 and tons of games like Ratchet & Clank, Tak 1-3, Jak 1-X, the Sly series, Spider-Man 2, and so many others. I spent a good month and a half just playing old PS2 games and I had an absolute blast

Zahille7 ,

Literally my first thought was "I bet the US either paid someone or sent their most Cuban asset to pull this off."

I'm American too. I fucking hate my country.

Zahille7 ,

FUCK. Now that's some good shit.

This is the Kain game I played when I was a kid. The PS2 I got just happened to have a copy, so I gave it a shot one time. Holy shit, it's like playing through a high-budget period-fantasy movie. The voice acting goes insanely hard, the story is wild and twisted, and the locations are dark and grim; even when they're brightly lit.

Zahille7 ,

I've seen some AI shit on Instagram that actually looks pretty good. (Read: scary and horrifying in how real it looks)

There's one named granny sparkle or something. An old woman who wears all pink everything, has money, and is sassy and hip with the young crowd by doing little dances and shit. The entire account is an AI created character but she looks like a real goddamn person.

Zahille7 ,

I remember when Pokemon Go first came out and it was all the rage. I saw a couple posts online about how to make your own Pokestop for people who lived in rural areas and/or couldn't travel easily.

So personally, I'm thinking someone who was on the island (maybe even Epstein himself) just made it because they're dumb fucks who gotta catch them all.

Day 576 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing

Today's game is Morrowind. I wanted to try mixing things up a little and had gotten this last december so i decided to dick around for a bit in it. I ended up being a little surprised by how much i enjoyed all the reading it needs. I mean, don't get me wrong. It's incredibly tedious and annoying sometimes, but it comes with ...

Zahille7 ,

It is, but just take it slow. I'd suggest the Tamriel Rebuilt mod(s), but I also want you to experience the game as vanilla as possible.

Zahille7 ,

Very little QoL, but an absolutely fucking massive map expansion and all the quests that comes with it. They just released the latest bit they finished last spring. It greatly expands all the major questlines and guilds and adds a couple more, introduces new ways of fast travel like water striders, new enemies and creatures, so many new towns with NPCs and their own dialog. It's a lot. But I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Elder Scrolls regardless.

It's a project that's been in production since a few weeks before Morrowind even released (but that's more just a fun fact). It's been worked on off-and-on over time, but really picked up speed a few years ago when Morrowind started becoming popular again.

This video explains pretty much the entire thing.

Or you could do "soul trap on self" combined with a "fortify skill" effect

Ralen Hlaalo manor. That house is awesome to use as a player home. You can drop stuff around to decorate, use any of the containers as storage, and it's just a nice big house.

Zahille7 , (edited )

They at least fixed the water walking in Oblivion. You could just look down to start swimming.

But yeah, I did that to a character or two as well. I think one time I thought a permanent levitation spell would be the tits. Then I found out about how slow it is.

ETA: my headcanon is that all the janky glitches and trucks pipe pull off in their respective playthrough are all actually canon as well. It would make sense too, because there are multiple instances of characters figuring out they're in some sort of dream/simulation/thing, and Tiber Septim becoming a god, and the general fragility of their reality.

Zahille7 ,

I'm sorry, but imo Portuguese sounds like Italian Spanish.

ICE Is Expanding Across the US at Breakneck Speed. Here’s Where It’s Going Next. ( www.wired.com )

Federal records obtained by WIRED show that over the past several months, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have carried out a secret campaign to expand ICE’s physical presence across the US. Documents show that more than 150 leases and office expansions have or would place ...

Zahille7 ,

Don't worry; I have it on good authority that these peaceful protests are working. I mean I just saw an article that said the administration is going to pull ICE out of Minnesota!

HUGE /S IF YOU CAN'T FUCKIN TELL

Zahille7 ,

Don't worry guys, boycotting these companies is definitely gonna make trump stop sending ICE to American homes and cities.

Anything we do isn't going to work. They've made their decisions and were not in it.

Instagram suspends Track AIPAC, watchdog tracking pro-Israel lobby spending ( www.middleeastmonitor.com )

Instagram has suspended the account of Track AIPAC, a widely followed watchdog project that tracks political spending by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and related pro-Israel lobbying groups. The social media giant cited alleged violations of the platform’s intellectual property and trademark rules. The ...

All the e-thots, all the thirst traps, all the scammers (go to the link in my bio to buy this cheap piece of shit!), all the "content creators" (read: corporate shills that "promote" the hot new item from whatever fast food place or store)...

I should get rid of it, but I also follow a lot of actual creators, people who actually do make things. Like one profile named @graceofspades, she makes these fun giant foodstuff decorations out of wood and other materials. She's made things like giant candy bar coffee tables, giant coffee creamer cups and such. I also follow some comic convention vendors from when I used to work that circuit, and some cool crochet pages because I want to learn someday.

And finally there's the many Lego/Mega builders I follow, for build inspirations or just to look at all the cool stuff they build. One guy is remaking different Halo 2 levels out of Mega Bloks, and is making pretty good progress.

Zahille7 ,

I don't like watching clips from shows or movies on anything other than an actual streaming platform, or a full YouTube video.

Shorts and reels fucking suck; I hate they're locked in portrait and there's always some bullshit editing like some shitty background music or some dumbass filter.

Zahille7 ,

I'm currently staying with my well-off aunt and uncle in southern California, because my uncle just had open heart surgery in January. It cost them (and insurance) $460,000 for his surgery.

My aunt was diagnosed with and beat breast cancer a couple years ago. One of her regular treatments that she still needs to go in for every week costs her $6,000.

It doesn't hurt that her parents were extremely wealthy and owned all kinds of land and property and left almost all of it to her and my uncle, but still.

Zahille7 ,

My brother had a Navy buddy from Miami, who's dad is apparently a big developer out there. He was telling me about this dude's house he had custom built, with like super-mega concrete and reinforcement on his own man-made island at the end of a very wealthy neighborhood. Apparently it can withstand hurricanes and debris, and it's like a freaking heavy-duty compound just so they can still live in Miami.

I'm sure he's about to get a whole lot richer.

Zahille7 ,

Damn that trailer fuckin rules. I'm pumped to play this game, and after watching this new trailer I'm thinking we might be turning into a cenobite by the end of it. It also looks like we're gonna be taking Julia's role in the first movie by killing people to revive our dead/taken lover.

Fuck. Yes.

US restaurants targeted for opposing ICE: ‘I refuse to cook for fascists’ ( www.theguardian.com )

Amid calls for a national shutdown on 30 January, Anton Kinloch displayed a sign on the sidewalk outside Lone Wolf, his craft cocktail bar and restaurant in Kingston, New York. In large block letters he wrote: “WE LOVE ICE IN DRINKS. WE DON’T LOVE ICE IN REAL LIFE. SOLIDARITY ALWAYS.” ...

I didn't buy Project Zomboid in 2013, but I know that's when it first went into early access.

I've been looking into Vintage Story, and I'm really wanting to get it. It looks pretty wild.

Fallout Shelter (video game) Tips

Was playing Fallout Shelter and realised I didn't know which rooms needed to be three wide. Found this tip on that. ...

Screenshot. Reads, " u/the_rabidsquirel Jun 19 '16 edited Jun 19 '16 Most rooms are more efficient 3-wide. Resource rooms, storage rooms, training rooms, living quarters, all of them. The only rooms that aren't are the medbays and science labs, which are most efficient (production wise) as 2-wide. For stimpack and RadAway storage width doesn't matter as it's always 10 more per cell, regardless of how they're connected."
ALT
Zahille7 ,

Not really. I haven't played in a long time, but I'd say to keep storage like freight next to your production rooms. And if you're trying to be efficient, don't get cutesy and put elevators in random spots; stack them in columns. It makes settlers able to move around much more quickly.

Keep people with decent stats, armor, and weapons stationed at your vault door. Any attacks will be quickly dealt with and you won't have to worry about anything. The last time I played, I had someone with max stats and power armor, along with a max-stat Preston, with a fatman and a rocket launcher.

Gen Z is the first generation dumber than their parents, neuroscientist claims ( www.vice.com )

I was one of the last classes to graduate before everyone got school-issued laptops or tablets, back in 2015.

I'm kinda glad I didn't go to school or grow up doing everything on a computer. The retention and repetition just isn't there with me, or most others it seems. Like those typing courses in computer class that we did in elementary; I still type everything using my index fingers and almost nothing else.

But another part of me wishes I was more computer literate. All I really know how to do is plug stuff in and sign into my profile.

Zahille7 ,

Yeah I played video games, but not computer games. There was a year or two when I was in elementary when I would play nothing but GMod and I got pretty good.

Then I lost PC access at some point and didn't get another computer until I was 22.

Zahille7 ,

This was back in like 2003-2005. There were plenty of great console games that came out at that time and after.

Zahille7 ,

I bet that place fucks

Zahille7 ,

Why is that a thing? It's so fucking weird and I hate it

Zahille7 ,

My mom got a 4-pack of some of these that look kinda like long kitchen lighters. She gave me one, and I've used it a few times for lighting my bowls when I smoke, but you can't beat an actual flame. The arc on those things isn't big enough so you have to put it right on there. We still have them, but we use them for candles.

Zahille7 ,

I just kinda wipe off the prongs if it's gross. I'm sure that's probably making something worse though.

Zahille7 ,

I went on a Disney Cruise when I was like 4. I went on another one just this past October, as both a family vacation and to celebrate my brother's girlfriend's birthday (she loves Disney, but she's not a Disney adult).

There were six of us, and then a couple of her friends and their kids came so it ended up being a group of about 12. We split three staterooms, and went on a couple "excursions" when we made port. It was actually a pretty fun time. The food was amazing, there was a late-night soft serve machine, and the people were all incredibly nice.

In the back of my mind though, I couldn't help but think about how awful this whole thing was in general. How much fuel was the ship burning, how many fish were we disturbing, look at these fat white people piling off the ship in the Bahamas. It was just always in the back of my mind, even when I tried to just enjoy things.

Zahille7 ,

I think it depends on the company you're cruising with. Disney don't fuck around. I've heard Carnival is basically bottom of the barrel.

I don't know much about cruises, but I'm sure it's all very dependent on different variables.

Zahille7 ,

A couple years ago I saw some articles talking about the Japanese princess moving to America to live a normal life with her family.

My main takeaway was: "Japan has a royal family?"

Zahille7 ,

Hey look, what I've been getting downvoted for stating the fucking obvious.

Zahille7 ,

I highly disagree with the people saying peaceful protest is working.

It's not fucking working you goddamn idiots. Look around in the cities where ICE is deployed. Sure they're being harassed and getting annoyed about having to be there, but holy shit you do not want to frustrate someone with such little impulse control as these fascist fucktards. They're still going around beating innocent civilians, kidnapping them from their homes and right off the fucking street when they leave work; they're going around shooting people in the back for trying to administer aid to another insured person.

Holy shit how can they still be this fucking dense?

Zahille7 ,

Apparently it's not. I had to Google it to make sure, but apparently it's just some kid, and this whole thing was supposed to be symbolic of something.

Zahille7 ,

I don't know, but I feel like I've seen his face in some articles or something.
