Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts recently endorsed taking care away from transgender adults, saying in an episode of the PBD podcast that the organization is currently "running the numbers" on the supposed correlation between gender-affirming surgeries and violence. His proposed solution? "You outlaw it." ...
Shows how much he speaks bullshit here, considering there is no such thing as "transgender surgery" and it is too vague term to connect with any violence.
He goes by supposed correlation between surgery and violence, which even if correlation is true does not mean there is causation and does not justify outlawing it for everyone.
I think this is satire to how whenever some kid dies by doing something stupid news articles always blame some tiktok trend or something when literally no one heard about that trend. Like, dangerous trends on internet exist, but not every absurd or bizzare death is due to popular trends.
since kids aren't usually allowed to train with guns... were they all training with their parents before? or is it not that hard, so can any person with no expirience technically just pick up a gun and start shooting people? ...
I am from Croatia, we have 1 rifle at home (hunting) and as a child I remember we will sometimes put plastic bottle and aim for bottle, so I guess similar is in USA? In rural places specifically. Of course it was all done with multiple of adults nearby. But I was always bad at it, and I am still scared to go near guns (intrusive thoughts)
Not that it matters now, but I'm curious. I don't know if I was popular. I had a lot of friends in middle school and I would say I did in high school too, but a lot less people knew me as the middle school I went to was smaller.
These people usually use "Other people are not entitled to my work." argument, or something like that goes. Which to some extent they are right, but living inside society, or community and what is a country but big community of humans, and living inside that community you are expected or should be expected to give basic respect and should help other people afford basic needs also other people should help you afford basic needs to live. Basically mutual help when living in a community, I could have worded it better but I hope people are understanding this.
