The BMA has failed in its attempt to halt the use of the term 'medical professional' to cover Physicians Associates as well as Doctors in the General Medical Council's guidance & administrative work... its appeal against last year's finding that PAs could be termed medical professionals failed in the High Court yesterday.
This leaves the possibility (as far as doctors & the British Medical Association are concerned) of a confusion for patients between (actual) doctors & PAs.
@beardyandrew
@ChrisMayLA6 the issue as I understand it is that NHS processes are intentionally being written using Medical Professional so that "Your results will be assessed by a Medical Professional to make a diagnosis decision" leaves scope for someone with Significantly less training and experience to make Medical decisions about your treatment.
I am somewhat surprised Trump can just tear down The White House without anyone preventing it.
If a prime minister of Denmark began tearing down the people's Parliament, I am quite sure we would see Danes chaining themselves to the excavators to prevent it.
