Is this not just a union busting coverup?

Shanedino ,

No one said any tangible points as to why it sucks and I am happy with it so I am left assuming people who dont like it are just going by vibes..

Shanedino ,

Ah ok, that is rather annoying, I have a couple usbc to usb 3.0 cables that have that issue. I also drive a lot of rentals, have never had the issue with a usbc to usbc.

Shanedino , (edited )

I would assume by electricity they mean current and it quite literally does not follow the path of least resistance it is just split inversly proportionally based on the resistance of paths.

Shanedino ,

Why are horses more edible than rabbit?

Shanedino ,

Isnt hydro in a small part powered by steam just post condensation steam.

Shanedino ,

I think you meant to say unjustified.

Shanedino ,

Slightly related but I rewatched robots this past weekend and the animation held up quite nicely for being vintage now.

Shanedino ,

Durbin has been messaged.

Shanedino , (edited )

Have you considered that you are off the mark here and being a little of a conspiracist.

Shanedino ,

Beyond protesting i don't know of much else i can do here.

Shanedino ,

I think your point to boycotting makes sense every other point only applies if I work for one of those major companies, I dont, my company respects the labor they have and provides us great compensation and stability, definitely not the norm within my the sector. So sure I'll be stopping using Google services as much but I can't withhold their labor and anything I do at my workplace will have zero effect on those companies.

Shanedino ,

I'm an engineer, no doctorate. My wife is the flip side going for PhD now.

Shanedino ,

But why? If you had the choice of getting stabbed with a pin or stabbed with a knife why would you ever abstain or not choose the pin? It just doesn't make sense.

Shanedino ,

They fixed it, now can you fix your attitude. Being a particularly rude dickbag doesn't support your point like you think it might.

Shanedino ,

How did this get 15 up votes its just like a completely false opinion. If this said texas sure.

Shanedino ,

Without all the rural areas texas would be blue, what is your point.

Shanedino ,

It is possible that the data is just never saved in non-volatile memory meaning that once power is lost that the values are also lost. In which case its not really deleting the information but rather just that information is just never intentionally saved.

P.S. I am not a tesla fan boy just wanted to give this tiny insight.

Shanedino ,

If the data is temporarily stored until it is transmitted and then is not considered to be needed anymore I see no reason as to why that would need to be stored locally forever.

Shanedino ,

On embedded controllers you are usually heavily limited with nonvolatile memory.

Shanedino ,

You're also making assumptions in that the volatile memory lost power and thus must have been cleared at some point. I dont think there is a right or a wrong based on the knowledge i have I just am throwing out a random guess.

Shanedino ,

My guess would be that some may not be viable because of certain drugs but that doesn't mean all of them are. You probably wouldn't want the liver of a heavy drinker but thier lungs are probably fine?

Shanedino ,

I hate dyes because they are a form of advertisement.

Popular sugar substitute linked to brain cell damage and stroke risk ( www.sciencedaily.com )

Erythritol, a widely used sugar substitute found in many low-carb and sugar-free products, may not be as harmless as once believed. New research from the University of Colorado Boulder reveals that even small amounts of erythritol can harm brain blood vessel cells, promoting constriction, clotting, and inflammation—all of ...

UC Boulder sends like a reputable source to me.

Shanedino ,

Last was war and peace, would recommend.

Currently "reading" Wisconsin • Minnesota | Midwest Bouldering Guidebooks to plan for an upcoming trip to devils lake. If you plan to go climbing there the book is awesome if not it would still be cool to page through if you are interested in climbing.

You are at least completely and utterly wrong about tracking solar not typically being built anymore. Any major solar site uses tracking if you have a couple acres on a corner maybe not but I think you are being a bit too general. Panels are only one of many costs per solar panel installation, its still cost effective overall to increase efficiency.

Shanedino ,

So it's the next sign to hang up going to read "not everyone is welcome here? ".

Shanedino ,

3 years for my wife and I.

Probably 6-7 if we take money out of retirement accounts.

We have been very fortunate in circumstances. Spend about 2.5k a month. In mid twenties.

Doge's interference reminds me heavily of insurance interfering with doctors.

Do gamers actually like the look of gaming computers and accessories?

Sometimes I wonder what the thought process behind the gaming aesthetic was. RGB (*if tunable) itself is fine and adds a nice opportunity for personalization, but are those tacky fonts, crystal-facet enclosures, and overall showiness just tasteless or do any gamers actually prefer that look?

Shanedino ,

What makes you think they are mutually exclusive?

Shanedino ,

I think this is a limited viewpoint, its more grey than you are making it out to be.

Shanedino ,

I think you mean No Kings Day.

Shanedino ,

Isn't this pure political theater by vance?

Shanedino ,

The lab I worked in during college had a project that was very similar but used the antennae.

Shanedino ,

Risk management isn't solely based on how bad the outcome is but also on how likely that outcome is.

Trump says a 25% tariff "must be paid by Apple" on iPhones not made in the US, says he told Tim Cook long ago that iPhones sold in the US must be made in the US

Source

I have long ago informed Tim Cook of Apple that I expect their iPhone’s that will be sold in the United States of America will be manufactured and built in the United States, not India, or anyplace else. If that is not the case, a Tariff of at least 25% must be paid by Apple to the U.S. Thank your for your attention to this matter!

The more I think about it doesn't trump just want to raise taxes without explicitly raising taxes.

Shanedino ,

There are plenty of people who never did that at all.

Shanedino ,

Silver is the "gold" standard as far as I am aware. Though I think gold is considered better compared to copper because of oxidation reasons.

Shanedino ,

Been once not that fun...

Shanedino ,

Why does it look weirdly tiny?

Shanedino ,

Do you at least concede that it has the behaviors similar to that of a monopoly.

Shanedino ,

Aged worse than milk.

Shanedino ,

There are many people who do have them and are posting here, so they very much on this platform.

Shanedino ,

Saying they are so niche that they wouldn't show up is incorrect though.

Shanedino ,

Yes the fuck I do.

Shanedino ,

You kind of seem like you are spiraling based off of your additional comments, and may be overestimating the situation somewhat. You seem to be jumping from A to E and skipping through all the other, easier things you could do.

Shanedino ,

I seriously can't tell if you are just trolling people. You seem to be making excuse after excuse, creating problems for yourself, and are showing poor risk assessment.
