I'm struggling to support my students and I need some help.

I've been going through food and supplies very quickly because a lot of my students and their parents are afraid to leave the house unless it's absolutely necessary due to ICE swarming.

I'm including my wishlist for my classroom, but there are other ways to help my students listed in my profile.

I received this email when I walked into work yesterday. This was after I received two other emails stating that there was zero funding for my program incentives. To the people who have asked why I don’t use Donor’s Choose, this is why, my district prohibits it.

Good Morning | hope you had a restful weekend. I received a notification from Donors Choose regarding your request f | $989 for food and snacks for your students. While I understand your request, the district strictly prohibits from seeking funds from outside organizations. If you need snacks or other resources for you: r class, purchase them from our budget. Therefore, I kindly ask that you please cancel the Donor’s Choose request

As most of you know, I am a special education teacher for students with emotional regulation difficulties.

Each year, I plan a Thanksgiving and Winter Holiday feast for my students because many do not have any celebrations outside of school.
