I check which side my petrol cap is, park up and exit the vehicle. Only to find that I had parked on the wrong side.
I feel your pain here. Fun fact, I think most vehicles now have an arrow next to the fuel icon on the dash that point to which side the fuel cap is on. Has saved me a couple times, and I haven't even gotten a new car in like 7 years or something like that.
Had my first comprehensive eye test today. Only reason I went to get checked was cause I couldn't read something at a distance, but my younger brother said the same thing to him was clear as day.
Verdict is, I am near-sighted. That wasn't the shocking part though, the price for the glasses was the shocking part.
Distracted probably, taking their foot off the brake. Let's be real, probably checking their phone, but could also be fiddling with the climate control or stereo. Also day dreaming could be a culprit.
Or maybe, they want to simulate tailgating the vehicle in front of them.
It is kind of wack. I get 10 cents off a litre (for now) if I fuel up at Ampol. However, the independent servo down the road is already cheaper, even with the 10 cent discount.
Up at 3am for me, and yes, it has gradually gotten colder over the last couple hours. Not as cold as being on a jetty as I can imagine, but still chilly.
Applying for jobs right now. Seeking pay rise right now.
Question for youse guys. Is it worth it to take a step down career wise for a pay rise? My thinking is, a job title is just a job title, and doesn't really reflect on your capabilities as an employee. Yay or nay?
Just turned the heat pump on. Starting to get a bit chilly.
Also, the electric blanket I got last year was one of the best purchases of my life. And I get to use it for the whole of winter this time, rather then the last couple weeks of winter (like last year).
This video was in recommended feed on YouTube and I ignored based on the title, not realising is was satire. Just watched it now because of you posting here, thanks.
Read somewhere that the QLD and WA governments are the only ones offering the free Flu shots, but I haven't fact checked/read anymore into it.
Company I work for offers refunds for anyone who has receipt of a Flu shot which is nice. Haven't needed to get the cash back from them for a couple years now though. Always nice when an employer offers an incentive with getting vaccinated.

Couple big ones, a few small ones, and some oddly shaped ones. Pretty fun pulling them out of the ground. Looking forward to eating some.
