An Eye for Detail

I had this idea months ago and finally realized it. It's the first mixel piece I am actually proud of. :)

(Please don't burn me at the stake for breaking the sacred pixelart rules, haha. ^^")

A pixelart portrait of a girl holding her fingers together to form a square, which frames her eye. The eye is much more detailed than the rest of the image, which adheres to a pixel size of 4x4 instead of 1x1. Sparkles in various pixel resolutions frame the girl's face.

An atmospheric background for a little game project I'm working on. :)

A pixelart scene overlooking a big city's skyline during sunset. The clouds are a mixture of a strong, red-orange colour and a deep blue. The stars are already visible high up in the sky, but a lingering reddish glow permeates the horizon. The windows and lights of the skyscrapers are lit up with red lights. The viewer is overlooking this scene from atop one of the buildings. An empty rooftop with a fence lies before the viewer in the foreground. The scene is framed from both sides with pipes and cables hanging from the walls of the building.

Aurora Eater

A pixelart image depicting the northern lights above a black landscape. Ghostly shapes of a small flock of birds are visible in the lights, fleeing the enormous maw of a snake or reptile devouring the aurora. The lower half of the image is completely dark. Only the silhouette of some foliage against the sky implies what might be hidden from sight.
